The Hoymiles HiOne-8S-G3 Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter is a powerful 8kW energy storage inverter designed for larger residential and light commercial solar installations. Combining advanced hybrid inverter technology with intelligent energy management, the HiOne-8S-G3 enables homeowners and businesses to maximise solar self-consumption, increase energy independence and optimise battery storage performance. Fully compatible with the Hoymiles HiOne-8B-G3 battery system, it provides a complete solution for efficient solar energy management.
Featuring four independent 18A MPPTs and support for up to 16,000W of recommended PV input power, the HiOne-8S-G3 is ideal for larger solar arrays and complex roof layouts with multiple orientations. With support for up to 200% DC/AC oversizing, it helps maximise solar generation and improve overall system efficiency.
The integrated intelligent Energy Management System (EMS) automatically balances solar generation, battery charging and household consumption to optimise energy usage throughout the day. During grid outages, the inverter can deliver up to 12kVA peak backup power for 10 seconds, providing additional support for starting demanding appliances and maintaining essential loads.
Built for long-term reliability, the HiOne-8S-G3 features an IP66-rated enclosure, integrated AFCI arc fault protection and comprehensive safety functions. Designed for both indoor and outdoor installations, it delivers dependable performance even in challenging environmental conditions.
